Sawyer Street Capital is a private lender based in Southern Maine.  We focus primarily on secured real estate financing in Maine and surrounding areas. 

 

Founded by Pete Aldrich, Sawyer Street Capital works hard to connect private money investors with good Real Estate Investment opportunities as well as to provide funding for those projects that meet our lending criteria.   

 

Pete began his real estate investing career back in 2006 with the purchase of a single family rental property.  Prior to Sawyer Street Capital, Pete founded his first Real Estate investment company, SoPo Holdings, which has grown steadily over the years and continues to be the home for his long term portfolio properties.  

 

Over the past few years, there has been a growing need for investors seeking higher yield, secured investments.  Many have approached Sawyer Street Capital asking to participate passively in real estate as a meaningful component in their investment portfolio. Private lending is an excellent investment for those who are looking for consistent, high yield, safe investments for their retirement and non-retirement funds.  During that same period, builders and RE investors were consistently looking for private loans to fund their projects where traditional lenders would not meet their needs.  

 

Sawyer Street Capital provides private lenders a vehicle to invest passively in Real Estate while providing real estate investors the ability to rapidly fund their projects. Lenders are able to grow their net returns on invested capital and real estate investors are able to grow their RE investment businesses.
